Arsenal Football Club have reportedly accepted an offer from Portuguese club, Sporting Lisbon for the transfer of their striker, Lucas Perez.
According to Portuguese outlet, A Bola, the North London club have accepted a £4.4million offer for Perez, who’s presently in discussions with Lisbon over his potential wage.
The Spain international was loaned out to his former employers last season.
Perez, who joined the Emirates club from Deportivo La Coruna in 2016, suffered from a lack of playing time in his first season.
The report also claimed that the Gunners’ coach, Unai Emery isn’t considering the 29yr old as a crucial part of his team this season.
He has reportedly been aiming to impress Emery ahead of the new season after arriving back in London, however fellow teammates, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette are anticipated to be Emery’s first selection this season.
